For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Trojans have suffered since February 3, 2024.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's defeat came about despite a quality game from Cash Moore, who went 6 for 9 en route to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Priami, who posted nine points.
Meanwhile, Covenant Christian entered their matchup against Purdue Polytechnic on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Covenant Christian fell just short of Purdue Polytechnic by a score of 59-57.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard will need focus on slowing down Mark Crane, one of several Covenant Christian players who made an impact when they last played. He went 6 of 7 on his way to 14 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Isaac Crane was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Even though they lost, Covenant Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Purdue Polytechnic only posted 11 assists.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Covenant Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.
