Soccer Recap: South Allegheny Comes Up Short

After flying high against East Allegheny on Tuesday, South Allegheny came back down to earth. The Gladiators lost 7-1 to the Seton LaSalle Rebels on Thursday. While losing is never fun, South Allegheny can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 413th, while Seton LaSalle are ranked 103rd).

South Allegheny's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Seton LaSalle, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Allegheny will welcome Carlynton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Seton LaSalle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chartiers-Houston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
