Softball Game Preview: Urbandale J-Hawks vs. Ankeny Centennial Jaguars

Urbandale hasn't had much luck against Ankeny Centennial recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The J-Hawks will challenge the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Urbandale might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-3 to North Scott, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The J-Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Ankeny Centennial faced Linn-Mar in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Jaguars fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2. The game marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Ankeny Centennial's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. As for Urbandale, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
