Basketball Recap: Jasper Takes a Loss

Jasper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-35 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southridge Raiders. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jasper's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Southridge, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jasper and Corydon Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
