Football Recap: Jamie Gemmel Leads Arlington's Defense on Thursday

Arlington won against Wappinger on Wednesday with 20 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Admirals beat the Carmel Rams by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 20-12. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Admirals.

Chase Harris went supernova, rushing for 74 yards and three scores on only seven carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave her a new career-high.

Arlington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jamie Gemmel, Scarlett Cavallo, and Katherine D'Angelo picked up one apiece.

Arlington's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Carmel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
