Basketball Recap: Greenview Comes Up Short

Greenview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Lewistown Indians 58-14. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-5.

Greenview's loss dropped their record down to 1-24. As for Lewistown, their victory bumped their record up to 5-22.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Greenview will face off against West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lewistown, they will square off against Midwest Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Midwest Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Lewistown likes a good challenge.
