Volleyball Recap: Excel Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Genesis Prep last Friday, Excel Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Winter Haven Christian Warriors on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Excel Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Winter Haven Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Excel Christian Academy nor Winter Haven Christian have any future games scheduled.
