Baseball Recap: Rattan Comes Up Short

Rattan blew Wister out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Wister got their revenge. The Rams fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Rams have suffered since April 6, 2024.

Rattan's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Wister, their win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

Rattan and Wister should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. The Rams (ranked seventh) will meet Valliant (ranked 112th) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Wister will take on McAlester at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (26 vs. 119).
