Baseball Game Preview: Patrician Academy Saints vs. South Choctaw Academy Rebels

Patrician Academy is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Monday. They will welcome the South Choctaw Academy Rebels at 4:00 p.m. Patrician Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Patrician Academy came up short against Southeast Lauderdale and fell 10-5.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for South Choctaw Academy's offense. They lost 11-0 to Lakeside School on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Rebels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

South Choctaw Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gage Adams, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Choctaw Academy fell to 2-1. As for Patrician Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything went Patrician Academy's way against South Choctaw Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2017, as Patrician Academy made off with a 15-1 win. Will Patrician Academy repeat their success, or does South Choctaw Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
