Baseball Recap: Boone Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Boone's offense. They came up short against the Winter Park Wildcats on Wednesday, falling 9-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Braves have suffered since February 28th.

Boone saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jetzel Flores, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Boone's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-9. As for Winter Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boone will take on Cypress Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winter Park, they will challenge Apopka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
