Recap: Eastmark Firebirds vs. Poston Butte Broncos
The Eastmark Firebirds won the last time they faced the Poston Butte Broncos, and things went their way on Monday too. Eastmark simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Broncos 73-45 on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Eastmark.
It was another big night for Timothy Gorham, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Walcott, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.
Eastmark's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Poston Butte, they dropped their record down to 10-16 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Eastmark will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Poston Butte, they will head out on the road to take on the Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
