            Mountain View entered their tilt with Skyline on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Coyotes 9-3. That's two games straight that the Toros have won by  exactly six  runs.

 Kooper Klein made a splash no matter where he played. He  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because Mountain View is 2-1 when he allows at  most  one  walk, but 5-7 otherwise. Klein was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high.
 In other pitching news, Mountain View got a great performance from  Austin Burr as he  pitched five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. What's more,  Burr posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in February.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Beckham Barney, who  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with one  home run. He has become a key player for Mountain View: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  one  home run, but 5-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chasyn Cook, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases.
Mountain View's record now sits at 7-8. As for Skyline, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 9-6.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain View will venture away from home to  take on Chandler  at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday. As for Skyline, they will head out to  face off against Gila Ridge  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Skyline is facing Gila Ridge at the right time seeing as Gila Ridge is stuck on  an  eight-game losing streak.
