With a playoff win on the line, Tuscarora rose to the challenge on Saturday. They secured a 50-45 W over the Heritage Pride. The victory was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Heritage's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Liam Roane, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 10 points and six rebounds. Roane is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. Dylan Williams was another key player, putting up five points along with six assists and three steals.

Tuscarora's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.

Tuscarora does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage, they will take on Loudoun Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Loudoun Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Heritage likes a good challenge.
