Softball Recap: North Valley Comes Up Short

North Valley lost against Lakeview on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Honkers. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lakeview, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Valley will welcome Brookings-Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruins have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.87 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lakeview, they will square off against Henley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
