Volleyball Recap: Marion County Takes a Loss

Marion County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hackleburg Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss last Thursday.

Marion County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Hackleburg, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Marion County is set to challenge their familiar foe Phillips at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hackleburg will take on rival Brilliant at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
