Softball Recap: Rayne Sets Scoring Season-High Against Notre Dame

Rayne lost against Notre Dame back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rayne Wolves took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Notre Dame Pioneers. One positive for the Wolves, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Rayne is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3-1. As for Notre Dame, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rayne will challenge Church Point at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Notre Dame, they will take on St. Thomas More at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Notre Dame is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
