Volleyball Recap: Elberta Comes Up Short

Elberta lost against West Florida back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Jaguars.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: West Florida scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 26-28, 25-22.

Elberta's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for West Florida, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.

Looking ahead, Elberta will venture away from home to take on Rain at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Florida, they are taking a road trip to face off against Booker T. Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Jaguars are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
