Baseball Recap: Indian River Comes Up Short

Grassfield hit Indian River with a four-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Braves came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 11-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in April.

Indian River saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paul Green, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Indian River has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Grassfield, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7.
