Softball Recap: Fayetteville-Manlius' Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

Fayetteville-Manlius dropped their record down to 6-4 on Monday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 12-6 to the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hornets have suffered since May 26, 2024.

As for Cicero-North Syracuse, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win they have posted against Fayetteville-Manlius since April 28, 2022.

For Cicero-North Syracuse's part, the team relied heavily on Aubrey Coyle, who fired off two home runs and six RBI while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Those two home runs gave Coyle a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Jaquin, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
