Baseball Game Preview: Southeastern Panthers vs. Adena Warriors

The Southeastern Panthers will challenge the Adena Warriors at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Southeastern's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Adena's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, Southeastern sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over Westfall. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Adena earned a 7-2 win over Piketon on Monday. That looming 7-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

Fisher Schaaf was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Garrison, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Adena's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Southeastern, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Southeastern came up short against Adena in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, falling 5-1. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
