Baseball Recap: Oswego East Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

In Friday's Canine Competition, Oswego East came out on top. They had just enough and edged out the Naperville North Huskies 6-4. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Jacsen Tucker was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Battista, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Oswego East's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Naperville North, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oswego East will venture away from home to square off against Plainfield South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Naperville North, they will head out to take on Geneva at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
