            Football Recap: Maroa-Forsyth Trojans vs. New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers        
        
		
        
        
            Maroa-Forsyth gave up the first  points on Friday, but they didn't let that get them  down. They came out on top against the New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers by a score of  44-34. Things were looking grim for the Trojans in the second  quarter (they were down by 20) but they stormed back to get the  matchup.

 Ryne Sheppard continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 223 yards and four  touchdowns on only 19 passes, while also punching in one  score on the ground. Maroa-Forsyth also got a significant boost from  Jordan Watters, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 91 yards.
 Maroa-Forsyth didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Isaiah Bohlmann and  Deangelo Owen.
 New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Brady Crews, who rushed for 185 yards and one  TD on only 11 carries. He really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 79-yard run.  Michael Pecoraro also helped out as he racked up 169 rushing yards.
Maroa-Forsyth's record now sits at 7-2. As for New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly, they now  have a losing record of 4-5.
As of now, neither Maroa-Forsyth nor the Vipers have any future games scheduled.
