Volleyball Recap: Independent Comes Up Short

Independent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Christian Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-19.

Independent's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15-1. As for Central Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cougars beat Independent by a score of 2-0 later that day.
