            Volleyball Recap: Cookeville Cavaliers vs. Siegel Stars        
        
		
        
        
            If Cookeville was feeling good  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of LaVergne on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Siegel Stars by a score of  3-2 on Tuesday. It was the first time  this season that the Cavaliers let down their fans at home.
 While Cookeville ultimately came up short, they really made  Siegel work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 24-26, 26-16, 22-25,  15-12.

 Cookeville's loss  came despite strong showings from  Ella Hardin and  Chloe Sexton.  Hardin  had 13  digs and three  aces, while  Sexton  had 21  digs and two  aces. Sexton has been hot, having  posted 11 or more  digs the last five times she's  played.
  Camryn Faulk was nothing short of spectacular for Siegel: she  had 28  digs and seven  assists. Those  28  digs gave  Faulk a new career-high.
Cookeville's defeat dropped their record down to 20-11. As for Siegel, their victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 20-14.
 Looking ahead, Cookeville will face off against Smyrna at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Siegel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eagleville  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
