Baseball Recap: Mountain Grove Takes a Loss

Mountain Grove had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to Logan-Rogersville and they left with a heavy heart again on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered against the Wildcats since April 25, 2018.

Mountain Grove has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Logan-Rogersville, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

Coming up, Mountain Grove will face off against Mansfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Logan-Rogersville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Monett at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Cubs at the right time seeing as the Cubs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
