After a string of four wins, Citrus Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 74-57 to the Grand Terrace Titans. If the Blackhawks were looking for revenge after losing 75-52 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Citrus Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Carmine Amaya went 6 for 11 on his way to 19 points. Kayden Gaines was another key player, going 5 of 11 on his way to 13 points.

Citrus Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Grand Terrace, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Citrus Valley has already played their next match, a 60-57 loss against Temecula Prep on the 14th. As for Grand Terrace, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against West Valley at 1:30 p.m. on December 26th.
