Softball Game Preview: Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds vs. Martin County Tigers

The Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds are taking a road trip to take on the Martin County Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Martin County took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincoln Park Academy, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with nine losses in a row, Lincoln Park Academy turned things around against Westwood on Monday. They blew past the Panthers 16-1. The Greyhounds not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 26, 2024.

Meanwhile, Martin County came up short against Palm Beach Gardens on Tuesday, falling 13-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Martin County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brealyn White, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Lincoln Park Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-10-1. As for Martin County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Lincoln Park Academy suffered a grim 22-1 defeat to Martin County when the teams last played back in March. Can the Greyhounds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
