Bristol-Plymouth RVT came tearing into Sunday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Duxbury Dragons by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-1.

Bristol-Plymouth RVT let Nick Pemberton and Devin Foley run wild. Pemberton went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run, while Foley went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Those three hits gave Foley a new career-high. Cameron Wilbur was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bristol-Plymouth RVT kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matchups.

Bristol-Plymouth RVT pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Duxbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-6-1.

Bristol-Plymouth RVT will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Dragons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Monday.
