Basketball Recap: Imlay City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Algonac last Friday, Imlay City came back down to earth. The Imlay City Spartans took a blow against the Armada Tigers on Wednesday, falling 63-34. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

With the loss, Imlay City broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Armada, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Imlay City will head out to take on Croswell-Lexington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Croswell-Lexington will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Imlay City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Armada, they will be home for the holidays to greet Algonac at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
