Flag Football Recap: Krystin Benson and Lanieya Page Secure Win for Prattville

The third road matchup was the charm for Prattville, as they earned their first away win of the season. They never let the Oak Mountain Eagles get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Prattville was led to victory by Lanieya Page and Krystin Benson. Page gained 94 total yards and two touchdowns, while Benson rushed for 36 yards. What's more, Page racked up 52 receiving yards, the most she's had over her last eight games.

Prattville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Page picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Prattville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.8 points on average over those games. As for Oak Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
