Benson won the last time they faced Desert Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bobcats strolled past the Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 58-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

When it comes to explaining why Desert Christian lost, don't look at Priscilla Genteman. Despite the final result, she posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. Genteman is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ariana Meares was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Benson's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Desert Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benson will host Globe at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Desert Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountainside at 5:30 p.m. on December 2.
