Basketball Recap: Firebaugh Wins Going Away Against Yosemite

Firebaugh won the last time they faced Yosemite and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Firebaugh Eagles strolled past the Yosemite Badgers with points to spare, taking the game 52-36. The game marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Yosemite lost, don't look at Lucas McGoldrick. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 16 on his way to 21 points and five rebounds.

Firebaugh's record now sits at 6-10. As for Yosemite, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Firebaugh will head out to take on Tranquillity at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yosemite, they will venture away from home to face off against Fresno Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 14th.
