Soccer Recap: Groton Takes a Loss

Groton lost against Odessa-Montour back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Hawks lost 7-0 to the Grizzlies. Groton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Groton now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Odessa-Montour, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Groton is set to face off against their familiar foe Union Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Odessa-Montour will challenge rival Southern Cayuga at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
