It's playoff time, and Crawford County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Paoli Rams on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Wolfpack: when they faced off against the Rams on May 10th, they had to take a 5-4 defeat.

Madison Pitman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Sylvia Ferriell and Marley Berg did most of the damage at the plate: Ferriell got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Berg went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave Berg a new career-high. Brynn Ingle was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Crawford County's win bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Paoli, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

As of now, neither Crawford County nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
