Football Recap: Boone Grove Comes Up Short on the Road Against Glenn

Boone Grove had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Glenn Falcons and fell 43-0. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Glenn found their leader in sophomore Archer Rust, who rushed for 92 yards on only eight carries, and also threw for 92 yards and two touchdowns. Rust's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Brayden Benwell was another key player, gaining 105 total yards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boone Grove will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against South Central at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenn, they will host Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
