Softball Recap: Loranger Has No Trouble Against Northlake Christian

Loranger hadn't done well against Northlake Christian recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Wolves blew past the Wolverines 11-1. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Loranger and bumps their season record up to 19-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Northlake Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loranger will venture away from home to challenge Albany at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northlake Christian, they will head out to square off against Franklinton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
