Baseball Recap: Lyndhurst Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ridgefield Park, Lyndhurst was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Weehawken Indians by a score of 9-6. The Golden Bears haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Ryan Lemanowicz was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Lyndhurst: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jayson Bellenger, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Lyndhurst now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Weehawken, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyndhurst will host Kearny at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Weehawken, they will challenge Becton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
