Coronado is a perfect 5-0 against Mesa Ridge since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will challenge the Grizzlies at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Coronado has three straight wins, Mesa Ridge has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Coronado is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Palmer on Thursday as they made off with an 8-1 victory. With Coronado ahead 6-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

They hit Palmer with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Landon Strutz (4), Ethan York (2), Carter McKnight, and Fitzgerald Miller.

Meanwhile, Mesa Ridge managed to keep up with Canon City until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Grizzlies came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-5-1. As for Mesa Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Coronado was able to grind out a solid victory over Mesa Ridge in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
