Softball Game Preview: Lennox Orioles vs. Baltic Bulldogs

The Lennox Orioles will challenge the Baltic Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses apiece.

Lennox lost 13-2 to West Central on Thursday.

Ahleeya Nicola made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Baltic came up short against Castlewood on Thursday and fell 7-4.

Baltic also got a good showing from Charlee Blommer, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave Blommer a new career-low in walks (one).

On the hitting side, Finley Kortemeyer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Siemonsma, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lennox's record is now 2-9. As for Baltic, their record now sits at 6-11.
