Volleyball Game Preview: Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers vs. Kankakee Trinity Academy

After both having extra time off, the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers and Kankakee Trinity Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Bradley-Bourbonnais came up short against Homewood-Flossmoor and fell 2-0. The Boilermakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Bradley-Bourbonnais was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Kankakee Trinity Academy didn't have quite enough to beat HomeSchool Resource Center last Thursday and fell 2-1. While Kankakee Trinity Academy didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating HomeSchool Resource Center 25-13 in the first set.

Kankakee Trinity Academy actually scored more points across those three sets (69-63), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Kankakee Trinity Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
