Soccer Recap: Sunset Comes Up Short

Sunset was the 1-0 winner over Jefferson when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sunset Bison lost 4-1 to the Jefferson Patriots on Friday. The Bison were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Sunset and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Jefferson, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Sunset has already played their next contest (against Hillcrest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jefferson will square off against Molina at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Molina is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
