North Augusta had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Midland Valley Mustangs 44-6 on Friday. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won nine contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was North Augusta's fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points over those games. As for Midland Valley, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.

North Augusta didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-7 win against Gilbert on the 14th. Midland Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
