Baseball Recap: Cajon Triumphs

Cajon owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They came out on top against the Beaumont Cougars by a score of 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Cowboys in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won eight in a row.

Gavin Garcia was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple.

Cajon's record is now 12-7. As for Beaumont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.
