Volleyball Recap: Fairhope Takes a Loss

Fairhope lost against Ocean Springs back in August of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Greyhounds. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kenley Nelson paced Fairhope's offense, picking up nine kills. Nelson got some help from Maddie Miller and her 14 assists.

Fairhope's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Ocean Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.

Fairhope didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Montgomery Catholic on the 13th. As for Ocean Springs, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Bayside Academy on the 13th.
