Basketball Game Preview: West Essex Knights vs. Science Park Chargers

The West Essex Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Science Park Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Essex has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Last Thursday, West Essex strolled past University with points to spare, taking the game 71-56.

Meanwhile, Science Park had to endure an 11-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 54-45 victory over Belleville on Thursday.

West Essex is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Science Park, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

West Essex was able to grind out a solid victory over Science Park in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 46-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Essex since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
