Soccer Recap: Mitchell Takes a Loss

Mitchell managed to keep up with Sunlake until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Mitchell Mustangs came up short against the Sunlake Seahawks, falling 3-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Seahawks recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Sunlake, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0-1.

Mitchell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sunlake, they are taking a road trip to square off against Northeast at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Northeast has won three straight at home, while Sunlake won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
