Basketball Recap: Vashon Island Comes Up Short

Vashon Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 60-47 to the Klahowya Eagles. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 73-49.

Vashon Island's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Klahowya, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3.

Vashon Island and Cascade Christian Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Klahowya will take on South Kitsap in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
