Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minneapolis South). In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with an 85-84 victory over the North Community Polars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Minneapolis South's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for North Community, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Minneapolis South will head out to face off against Benilde-St. Margaret's at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Benilde-St. Margaret's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for North Community, they are taking a road trip to take on Apple Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
