Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northside - Pinetown). They put the hurt on the Jones Trojans with a sharp 14-0 win on Tuesday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Jayden Bass looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Northside - Pinetown let Holden Boykin and Blake Wainwright run wild. Boykin went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI, while Wainwright scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most RBI Boykin has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Trexler Gray, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Northside - Pinetown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Northside - Pinetown's record is now 5-11. As for Jones, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

Northside - Pinetown will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trojans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
