Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Lenoir). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 73-39 victory over the Dixon Bulldogs. While the Blue Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win made it two in a row for South Lenoir and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Dixon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

South Lenoir will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Clinton at 4:00 p.m. on December 26th. The timing isn't great for Clinton: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while South Lenoir has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for Dixon, they will be home for the holidays to greet Heide Trask at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Heide Trask is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season.
